Performance of Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Ukraine in Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Ukraine exhibited diverse performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 23K in late March and peaking at around 44K by the end of June. Active users also experienced a steady rise, growing from approximately 162K to nearly 352K over the same period.

Uklon: More Than a Taxi experienced a growth in weekly downloads, beginning at roughly 14K at the end of March and reaching about 31K by the last week of June. The app's active users increased from around 145K to over 236K during this quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus exhibited a consistent increase in weekly downloads, growing from approximately 10K to 16K. However, the number of active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 150K mark throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride displayed a steady pattern in weekly downloads, starting at around 12K and closing the quarter at about 12K as well. The active user base showed a gradual increase from approximately 199K to 234K.

inDrive. Save on city rides had modest weekly downloads, beginning at roughly 2K and maintaining a similar level throughout the quarter. The active users hovered around the 110K mark, showing slight fluctuations during the period.
